Coalition Meeting, Imagine Zero

November 21, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

Free

Each year, more than one million Coloradans experience a mental health or substance use disorder, yet only half get the care they need. The result: lost earnings and productivity, increased hospitalization, homelessness, and incarceration and one of the highest suicide rates in the nation.

How do we take action to combat this?

Join us on to learn how we can make mental and behavioral health a priority in our community.

Laurie Stolen, Behavioral Health Project Director, will update us on Mental Health Matters, Larimer County’s Mental & Behavioral Health Initiative and let us know how we can make mental and behavioral health a priority in our community.

Andrew Romanoff, former Speaker of the Colorado House and the current President and CEO of Mental Health Colorado, will discuss how we make Colorado a national leader in the prevention and treatment of mental illness and discuss the benefits of early intervention—and the costs of inaction.
