Anderson Miller joined Mental Health Colorado in 2017 after spending time in leadership roles in the private sector. Prior to the private sector, Anderson spent several years working with healthcare professionals in the University of Michigan Health System, and found his passion for mental health during this time. He also spent time working with adults with traumatic brain injuries and developmental disabilities before moving to Colorful Colorado.

Moreover, he credits his undergraduate behavioral psychology research professor for pushing him into healthcare and to shrive to understand more about healthcare and behavioral health. Anderson is a firm believer of taking a proactive approach to healthcare delivery and promotion; which is the way for the United States to be a leader in healthcare especially mental health. He holds a Masters in Healthcare Administration, and will pursue a Doctorate in Healthcare Policy in the near future.

He is an avid runner and is a track and field coach in his free time and looks to create opportunities for all youth to experience track and field regardless of ability. Additionally, he uses track to help young runners build strong minds to help them move strong bodies in their desired direction to reach their goals.
