Cassie Cohen joins us as our yearlong Public Interest Fellow. An east coast native but Colorado convert, she comes to us with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Colorado College. She graduated in 2017.

Cohen is a firm believer that mental health should be equal to physical health in our attention, attitudes and policy. She hopes to make this closer to reality in her time with our organization and beyond.

Cohen had previously worked as a volunteer at the Colorado Springs NAMI branch and as a mentor for new transfer students. One of her highlights at Colorado College was her senior thesis research in clinical psychology. She finds individual psychological differences valuable and fascinating.

Cassie likes to spend her free time outside in the mountains and is excited to call Colorado her new home.
