Sarah joined Mental Health Colorado in 2017, following more than 15 years of research, evaluation, policy development, and leadership in children’s mental health in Colorado, with a focus on early childhood.

She is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College and the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.  She received her doctorate from the University of Colorado School of Education and Human Development.

Sarah is graduate faculty at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, and has served as the Director of Early Childhood with Colorado’s Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND) program, and as Director of Education and Policy Liaison with Colorado’s University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities program at JFK Partners, an interdepartmental program of the Departments of Pediatrics and Psychiatry at the School of Medicine.

She lives in the foothills with two incredible kids, two dogs, and frequent deer and elk visitors.
