The Office of Behavioral Health is excited to be coming to your community on September 22 for a Community Forum to hear about the successes and challenges the Grand Junction and Montrose communities are experiencing in the realm of behavioral health. Please find an informational flyer attached to share with your local partners that would be interested in attending.

The goals of the forum are to:

• Hear from clients, families, staffs of facilities and service providers about area needs, successes and opportunities;
• Get ideas for next steps, legislation and creative solutions;
• Share what services are available in the community and support local partnerships; and
• Reduce stigma about what mental illness, substance use disorder and other behavioral health issues look like and who is affected.
