Jason Santomaso is a livestock auctioneer, businessman, and proud advocate for rural America. His life and career are rooted in the livestock industry, where he’s had the privilege of working alongside hardworking farmers, ranchers, buyers, and families who represent the very best of agriculture.

Through Sterling Livestock Commission Company and Livestock News Network Media, he works to strengthen the livestock community, promote agricultural businesses, and give rural people a stronger voice. He’s also the host of the Hard Land, Honest Minds podcast, where he has honest conversations about agriculture, mental health, faith, addiction, family, and the challenges people face in rural America.

Jason’s passion for mental-health awareness comes from personal experience. He’s faced anxiety, depression, and struggles with alcohol that nearly cost him his marriage. By sharing his story, he hopes others realize they are not alone and that asking for help is a sign of strength—not weakness.

Jason loves God, America, freedom, agriculture, and the rural way of life. Whether he’s behind the auction block, speaking at an event, producing a podcast, or supporting his community, his goal is simple: serve others, encourage honest conversations, and leave rural America stronger than he found it.
