Erica Chasansky joined Mental Health Colorado in 2018, bringing 10 years of experience in large-scale event planning and hospitality. She is a Colorado native, and Graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with a degree in Liberal Arts.
Erica has been involved in her local community long before joining Mental Health Colorado. She has been an active volunteer at a women’s homeless shelter, providing child care while the mothers attend living skills and parenting classes. She has also visited multiple countries in Africa in the last two years, including Swaziland, Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda volunteering with children in local villages and orphanages. Those experiences, in addition to seeing the first-hand impact of mental illness on close friends and family, drove Erica to be involved and dedicated to mental health awareness and education on a full time basis.
Erica’s passions include travel, yoga, animals (especially her cat), and spending time with her husband.
