Miriam joined Mental Health Colorado in 2018 as a Research Associate after working on several program evaluation and research projects involving behavioral health, substance use, and early childhood social emotional health and development. She graduated from the University of Denver with a BA in International Studies and Spanish and an MA in Research Methods and Statistics.
Miriam’s work at Mental Health Colorado combines her passion for social justice and health equity. Having grown up in Colorado, Miriam is aware of the inequality confronting mental wellbeing and treatment services. She hopes to use her analytical skills to strengthen systems and policies through data from collective-wisdom and community experiences.
Miriam loves living in Denver and enjoying Colorado’s landscape. She loves to travel, eat, and dance in her free time.
