As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Sarah brings more than 10 years of experience in child and family therapy, clinical supervision and nonprofit program administration. Prior to joining Mental Health Colorado in 2019, she was engaged in program design and management, with a focus on mental health programming for families in crisis. She developed and directed a clinical program at the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless for children and families with histories of trauma and trained clinicians in the implementation of evidence-based interventions and strategies to address vicarious trauma. Sarah has extensive experience with trauma-informed care and a training in neuroscience that inform all aspects of her work.

Sarah is committed to the need for early and effective child and adolescent mental health interventions, believing in the power of resilience. In addition to her work for Mental Health Colorado, Sarah has a private counseling practice that serves families with children experiencing a medical or behavioral health condition or crisis. She earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Denver.

Born and raised in Colorado, Sarah and her husband love watching their two sons grow and laughing with them along the way.
