Dr. Mark Allen is a double board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist specializing in athlete mental health and the founder of Peak Sports Psychiatry. He serves as Chairman of the American Board of Sports & Performance Psychiatry and works with athletes from the high school level through Olympic and professional sports, including as a psychiatric consultant for the Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Dodgers and WWE. Dr. Allen also serves on the medical advisory board of Alston for Athletes and is a passionate advocate for youth athlete well-being. In 2026, Mental Health Colorado recognized him as an Advocate of the Year for his work helping pass Alyssa’s Youth Concussion and Mental Health Protection Act (SB26-060).
