Colorado School Mental Health Community of Practice Returns for the 2026–2027 School Year
School professionals and community partners across Colorado are invited to connect, learn, and collaborate through the Colorado School Mental Health Community of Practice (CoP).
Presented in partnership with Partners for Children’s Mental Health, Colorado’s Office of Behavioral Health, and Colorado’s School Safety Resource Center, the CoP brings together school staff and leaders, mental health professionals, community members, and school mental health champions from across the state to strengthen student mental health and well-being. Through free monthly virtual sessions, participants learn from local experts and one another while exploring practical, evidence-informed approaches that can be applied in Colorado schools and communities.
Topics are shaped by participant interests and emerging needs and may include trauma-responsive classrooms, suicide prevention, early identification and intervention, educator wellness, and other strategies for advancing school mental health.
Since launching in 2021, the CoP has engaged more than 200 school and community professionals each year, extending its reach to thousands of Colorado students.
