Congress Must Extend ACA Tax Credits — Our Mental Health Depends On It

With the government shutdown finally over, thousands of Coloradans living with mental health conditions are still bracing for the worst as Congress edges closer to letting their health insurance premiums double overnight. Thousands of Coloradans who count on consistent coverage are at a breaking point, facing spiralling costs and the very real threat of losing the care that keeps their lives intact. This is a full-blown public health crisis, and our representatives in Congress must force a vote now to advance a full extension of the enhanced premium tax credits (ePTCs) before the cliff becomes a catastrophe.
