• Morning at the Capitol | 7:30am - 11am
  First, join us for an advocacy training breakfast on how to advocate effectively on our legislative priorities. After the training, participating advocates will have the opportunity to go to Colorado’s Capitol, watch floor proceedings, and meet face-to-face with legislators to share your story and discuss the bills they should support.

  We’ll transition back from the Colorado State Capitol to the First Baptist Church of Denver, where we’ll remain for the duration of the event. Participants will have a break to grab a boxed lunch and talk with fellow advocates, partner organizations, and state policymakers and officials.

  At 11:45 AM, you’ll get to hear from our keynote speaker, followed by a panel of experts (TBA), spotlighting local Colorado heroes whose work exemplifies the “Care, Not Cuffs” call to action within the context of supporting families.
