Care Not Cuffs (The Equitas Project) is a national initiative of Mental Health Colorado.

Too often, law enforcement is our first and only response to people’s need for mental health and substance use care.

#CareNotCuffs unites and educates leaders, advocates, and communities working to disentangle mental health and criminal justice to improve health outcomes, preserve public safety, and save taxpayer dollars.
